My prIme was tested when I survived a deeply catastrophic accident. Before June 30th of 2019, I was blooming. A classically trained dancerr with a mentor's mindset, being a Financial Rep was surpisingly golden. At Northwestern Mutual, I flourished as the first daughter of my fathers succession plan. His 35 year book of business holds a legacy cemented in generational wealth. Before I knew it, I was swimming among the dimmed potential of my office supplies, planners, folders that once gleaned; All just in reach. I was left pinned upside down, laying with a diagnosis I later learned would haunt me for life.
That ominous day bound me to a life of unfit wheelchairs, countless medical complications and permanent gratitude. The paraplegic in me, now mourning the twilight of my career, is emerging.
Throughout this endless journey research defines what life will look like for this body, I was driven to breathe color into an otherwise lifeless tragedy. Since I am no longer able to travel with my legs, I have decided to travel with my voice. My past life meeting up to these series of unfortunate events are symbiotic in motivating my role to uplift the masses.
My presentations are designed experiences for nurturing human connections by marrying my B.S. in Human Development with the study in Human Environmental Science. I engage my audience through team building interventions with the goal to develop interpersonal relationship skills. I propel productivity through sensory experiences that yield inclusion. My struggle once shuddered an entire community and now is a rare lens in which to examine ways to foster leaping greatly.
